To celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the Moon Landing, GE partnered with JackThreads x Android Homme to create "The Missions," a limited edition pair of moon boot sneaker. Priced at $196.90, in tribute to the year of the landing, each pair was made of advanced materials such as carbon fiber and hydrophobic coatings.

GE also hosted Astronaut Buzz Aldrin on Snapchat for a Q&A session about the landing and to try on the sneakers himself.
